Piano Music for Auto Mechanics
Piano Music for Auto Mechanics is Scott Horlbeck's pop debut, a chance to share with the world his enjoyment of solo piano improvisation. Every single track on the album was recorded as it was composed, with no prior rehearsal—except of course for the thousands of unrecorded improvisations he has played over the years, which are now forever lost to our ears. Horlbeck hopes this album will be for you a delightful precursor to future works of many different flavors.

- What's on the cover?
- It's an elegant shop rag, draped over a column stick shift, with a spot light shining down on it. I thought it would be obvious, but I guess I have a lot to learn about album cover design.
- Why is it "for Auto Mechanics"?
- Because it's funny. My dad suggested the title after my car broke down, and we laughed. I'm guessing you didn't laugh, since you had to ask.
